Private Preschool - Milusin
We are working with an author's program which considers children's development needs. It is based on the latest knowledge concerning the brain's mechanisms and development. The program is arranged in order to support a harmonic development of each child in all areas.
Our main goals:
- Development of emotional and social abilities (rules of functioning in a group, solving conflicts)
- Assuring the child's sense of safety (close contact between child and teacher, adaptation program)
- Developing of independence (opportunities to choose lessons, self reliance)
- Arousing interest in knowledge (experiments with nature, world around us naturalistic experiments, access to extensive library )
- Developing of child's talents (work with various art material, artists' visits, concerts and plays, listening to various music)
- Cooperation with parents (parents are encouraged to stay in the class for the whole time and to participate in activities)

Milusin
Types of activity:
- Developing of speech and preparing for writing and reading
- Preparing for mathematics and introduction to mathematical terms and ideas
- Introduction into the world of culture and art
- Supporting of learning activities
- Developing of small and large movement abilities
- Developing of the sense of feeling, sight, smell and taste
- Developing of listening and musical abilities
We have an adaptation program
1. Tutorials for children above 18months of age (in the morning, 4 hours 3 times a week, whole year-round). The presence of parents is encouraged but not essential
2. Workshops for children and parents (2 hours in the afternoon, once a week). More information about the program can be found in monthly publications of dr. Katarzyna Mitros, in "Dziecko" magazine, who is our consultant.
Additional tutorials and services
Within the tuition: art, development of musical features, English, basics of computer operating, naturalistic tutorials, elements of the good start method, development movement according to Weronika Sherborne's method, tutorials stimulating sensory integration, basic speech therapist and psychological care
Additionally charged: field trips, theatre, concerts, extended speech therapist and psychological care

Number of staff: 3 teachers, 3 teacher's assistants (students), 1 kitchen assistant, 1 administrative assistant, instructor of adaptation tutorials, director, consultant
Playground, garden: swing, slides, sandpit, cubby for playing with seeds and water, cubby for role playing, balls, baskets, goal etc.
3 meals daily we consider food allergies in cooperation with parents
Resting period for those children who want or need to sleep
